Automated appointment reminders set up to send prior to appointment to generate a response from the patient. The recommended best practice cadence is 7,2,1 day reminders. Cadence can vary based on the appointment type and how far in advance the appointment is usually scheduled. Clients may send out same-day appointment reminders as well.
